Introduction

Located a mere four miles southeast of the citys central business district, Albuquerque International Sunport is a single terminal facility and the main gateway to New Mexico. While some international destinations are served, the vast majority of flights arriving and departing from the airport are domestic. Though a relatively small airport, it handles more than six million passengers a year.

Passengers will find a total of 3,900 parking spaces available at the short-term and long-term facilities. Vehicles with handicap identification are permitted to park for free. All facilities are monitored by the aviation police.

Getting to and from the airport

reach the airport by car, drivers should take I-25 south until reaching the Sunport Boulevard exit, then travel east along Sunport Boulevard until reaching the terminal.
