Annual passenger traffic at the airport exceeds 400,000. In addition to flights throughout the UK, scheduled international connections include France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Ireland and Canada. Holiday charters also travel to destinations such as Austria and Barbados.Airport parking ExeterThe airport has four car parks, one for short stays (P1) and three for long stays (P2-P4). In P1, 50 metres from the terminal, parking is free for the first 20 minutes. After that, rates are €1.80 (£1.20) per hour, or €30 (£20) per day. Two of the long-term car parks, P3 and P4, are farther from the terminal and are served by a complimentary shuttle bus. Rates for all long-term car parks are €10.50 (£7) per day, or €65 (£43) per week. Discounts are offered for advance booking.Getting to and from ExeterThe airport is situated just off the A30 motorway, which leads west directly into Exeter. En route the road crosses the M5, which runs north to Taunton and Bristol. Buses run from the airport daily except Sundays to Exeter Bus Station in the city centre. Airport TaxiBus also operates between the airport and Exeter’s St. David’s Railway Station for about €7.50 (£5) per person (minimum three people). The airport’s authorized taxi company provides transport via taxi and minibus to Exeter and other area destinations; the taxi rank is located outside the arrivals hall.Amenities at Exeter International AirportAn ATM can be found on the external wall of the terminal building. In the main concourse there is a bureau de change, plus a World News shop selling newspapers, magazines, books, CDs and gifts. Dining options on the landside of the terminal are offered at a “food village” plus a bar/café. In the departures area, the Bar des Voyages provides beer, wine and spirits; and a duty-free shop offers an assortment of perfumes, watches and other luxury goods.
