More than 40 scheduled airlines, including budget carriers, plus some 100 charter airlines serve the airport. International destinations include all of Europe, plus the Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. Weekly parking in P51 costs €51.Getting to and from GenevaThe airport is just off the A1A motorway. This connects with the Route de Meyrin which leads directly into Geneva city centre. An airport railway station is situated 300 metres from the terminal. Trains run to Geneva-Cornavin in the city centre (travel time, 8 minutes). There are also direct trains to many other destinations throughout Switzerland and Europe. Bus service links the airport with central Geneva, the United Nations and Lake Geneva. Stops are located at the departures level in front of the train station, and at the arrivals level next to the post office. Express shuttle buses also travel into France; Grenoble and Lyon are about 2 hours away. Taxis are readily available outside the arrivals hall, and charge about €20 for the trip into Geneva.Amenities at Geneva International AirportFinancial facilities include a bank, numerous ATMs and two currency exchange bureaus. There is also a post office. The airport’s Skycom business centre has private offices equipped with telecommunications facilities, and conference rooms seating up to 70 persons.
