Click here for an airport parking quotation Menorca International Airport (MAH) informationIntroductionMenorca Airport is located 4˝ kilometres southwest of Mahón, the capital city of this easternmost of Spain’s Balearic Islands. More than 2˝ million passengers pass through the three-level terminal each year. International flights (mainly seasonal charters) account for most of the traffic, especially during the peak summer season. Domestic flights are primarily inter-island, as well as connecting with Barcelona.Airport parking at MenorcaThere are two car parks: short-term across from the terminal building, and long-term to the left of the terminal. For short-term, the first half-hour is free; after that the rate is €0.89 per hour (or part thereof), up to a day rate of €6.27. Long-term rates are €9.35 for two days, with each additional day costing €2.65.Getting to and from MenorcaBy road from Mahón, take the PM-704 roadway which then connects with the PM-702. The 702-2 access road leads directly to the airport. Buses to and from Mahón city centre leave every 30 minutes Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 19:00 (then hourly until 22:40). On weekends and holidays, buses run hourly from 6:00 to 22:40. The one-way fare is €1.50. A taxi rank is located outside the terminal building as well.Amenities at Menorca AirportThere are three ATM machines: one on the arrivals level, and two on departures. The airport has four cafés, some with bars and one featuring an outdoor terrace. Eight shops (five of which are only open during the peak tourist season of April-October) offer an assortment of perfumes and cosmetics, costume jewellery, toys and gifts, sweets, newspapers and books, souvenirs, and footwear and other leather goods. A duty-free shop sells wines and liquors, regional foodstuffs, perfumes and tobacco. There are 10 travel agencies with booths at the airport to assist with further travel arrangements.An information desk is located on the terminal’s departures level.
