Jerez International Airport (XRY) information

Introduction

This gateway to Spain’s sherry-producing region handles nearly 1 million passengers per year. The single, two-level terminal receives about eight flights a day, primarily from Madrid, Barcelona, Frankfurt and London (Gatwick and Stansted).

Airport parking at Jerez

There is space available for more than 1,000 vehicles (457 short-term, 547 long-term) in the car park directly opposite the terminal building. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes, then €0.85 per half-hour up to the day rate of €6.95. A holiday ticket costs €31.85. There is a pick-up and drop-off area outside the terminal’s main entrance; assistance is available for the mobility impaired.

Amenities at Jerez Airport

The airport has one ATM machine (on the arrivals level), a currency exchange bureau, a first-aid station and a baby/parent room. Leisure facilities include two cafés (one with large windows offering a panoramic view of the tarmac and runway), shopping outlets including a duty-free centre, and a newsagent/tobacconist. There is an airport information counter, as well as a tourist information booth, located on the arrivals level of the terminal.

Getting to and from Jerez

The airport is located off the N-IV roadway, eight kilometres northeast of the city of Jerez de la Frontera. A link to the A-4 Sevilla-Cadiz toll road has recently been restored: from the airport, head south on the N-IV about one kilometre, then connect to the A-4 via the N-346. Sevilla is about 70 kilometres to the north; Cadiz, about 25 kilometres southwest.

No bus service is available, but taxis are plentiful. A trip to the Jerez city centre (a 15-minute ride) costs about €11; the trip to Cadiz, €41.
