Nearly 10 million passengers annually pass through Portela Airport’s single terminal. In addition to domestic flights, many international carriers also operate out of Lisbon, connecting to key cities in Europe and around the world.Airport parking at LisbonThree airport car parks offer a range of parking options. Car park P1 is ideal for very short-term parking close to the terminal. Rates here are €0.80 for 30 minutes, and €2.15 for the first hour and each additional hour. Rates are slightly less in car park P2, which is a greater distance from the terminal. Car park P3 is designed for long-term parking. Here, parking is free for the first 30 minutes, and then €1.30 per hour up to a daily rate of €15.30.Getting to and from LisbonThe airport is just off the A1 Porto-Lisbon motorway. If driving from Lisbon, cross the Vasco da Gama bridge and take the second circular. The airport is clearly signposted. Local buses run between the airport and several locations in the city. The one-way fare is €1.10. Aerobus shuttles also operate daily from 7:45 until 20:45, charging €3.05 for the trip to or from points in Lisbon city centre. Shuttle buses also run to Estoril and Cascais for a fee of €7.72. Taxis can be found outside the arrivals and departures areas, and are available 24 hours a day.Amenities at Lisbon Portela AirportSixteen ATMs are situated throughout the terminal, plus four bureaux de change and a bank (open Monday through Friday from 8:30 until 15:00). There is also a post office in the departures hall. The airport offers a wide range of retail establishments, including 10 clothing and accessories shops, 4 jewellers, a museum shop, 2 newsagent/tobacconists, and shops featuring Portuguese wines, foods, china and handicrafts. There is also a good selection of bars, cafés, restaurants and fast-food outlets. Business travellers should find ample resources in the Icaro and Ulisses lounges, located in the terminal’s transit area.
