The newly remodeled terminal building handles all domestic, international and charter flights. International flights connect with more than 60 destinations in Europe, plus Istanbul, Moscow and New York. The airport is situated 50kms north of Oslo.Airport parking at OsloThere are more than 3,500 short-term parking spaces in a multi-storey car park located next to the terminal; maximum parking time here is four hours. In addition there are 7,900 long-term outdoor parking spaces on the ground level, divided into five areas: P1 through P5. P4 and P5 are situated farthest from the terminal and are normally only in use when the others are occupied. There is free shuttle bus service to and from the terminal every 15 minutes.Getting to and from OsloIf driving from Oslo, take the four-lane Highway E6 and follow the signs marked “Gardermoen.” At Jessheim turn onto Highway 174; this leads directly to the airport. Airport Express “Flytoget” train service runs between the airport and Oslo’s central station (travel time, 20 minutes). All regional trains on the Skien-Oslo-Lillehammer-Trondheim route also stop at the airport. SAS airport buses depart every 20 minutes, making several stops including the Helsfyr T subway station and the Oslo bus terminal. The journey into the city takes about 40 minutes. Night bus service is available as well.
