Situated 30 minutes northwest of Belfast, near Antrim, Belfast International Airport is served by low-cost carrier Easyjet, with regular services across the UK and to Amsterdam. It is important to pre-book parking in the high season.Getting to and from Belfast International AirportFrom Belfast by car, take the M5 motorway north towards Newtownabbey, from where you take the M2 to junction 5 and then head west along the A-57 and A-26 to the airport. If you’re coming from the south (M1), head north along the A-26 from the Moira junction; from the north, head for Antrim and the A-26.There are railway stations north and south of the airport in Antrim and Crumlin respectively, with Belfast, Lisburn and Londonderry connections. Amenities at Belfast InternationalThere is just one terminal at Belfast International Airport, which has an information desk located in the Arrivals lounge. The terminal is equipped with a bureau de change, and ATMs are nearby. In addition, there are postal facilities, specially adapted telephones for the disabled and a photo booth.Gift shops and a newsagent’s can be found in the departures hall and there is a duty-free shop in the International Departures lounge. Children have their own play area and video games area, and there is a mother-and-baby room nearby. For refreshments and food, the International Food Court, located on the first floor of Departures, is always open for passengers, and the nearby International Bar is open from 11:30 to 3:00. A café-bar is also available in International Departures, and a bookshop and coffee shop are located in Arrivals. |
