Located on Mexico’s west coast, Puerto Vallarta Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport is mainly used by charter airlines and people who wish to access the popular beach resorts along the beautiful coast. There is a single terminal building for all domestic and international flights. The airport is situated just a few miles from downtown Puerto Vallarta and shuttle buses and taxis run to the city throughout the day.

One of Mexico’s busiest airports is Cancun International Airport, which operates direct flights from destinations such as Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York as well as services from London with British Airways. Located on the northeastern tip of the Yucatan peninsular, Cancun Airport is a well-equipped facility with two terminals. Public shuttles run to Cancun, while some hotels also provide their own shuttle service.
