Information on Germany Airports
Click here for an airport parking quotation Germany AirportsFirst time visitors to Germany will be amazed at the country’s efficient transport networks including roads, railways and buses. The people are friendly and there is plenty to see here owing to the wonderful collection of cities and countryside which features impressive rivers, lakes and mountainous terrain along the Swiss border, allowing for opportunities to go skiing. There are a total of three airports in Berlin, with the Berlin-Schoenefeld International Airport handling about five million passengers per annum. The airport has three terminals (A, B, and C) and receives flights from a huge collection of cities around Europe. The Airport Express train frequently runs to the city and there is also a good bus service. Germanys second largest airport, Munich International Airport is a modern facility with great connections with the rest of Europe and some transatlantic destinations. The airport has two terminals and good transport links with the city. Trains run to and from the airport to Munich and other German destinations, while buses also run from farther afield and an autobahn runs close to the airport, making road access easy. Handling slightly less passengers than Berlins’ Schoenefeld, Frankfurt-Hahn International Airport has links with a dozen countries including flights to Ireland with Ryan Air. Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is a long way from Frankfurt itself, but it is well connected by bus and road as well as being convenient for travel to Cologne and Luxembourg. Germany’s fourth airport, Hamburg International Airport provides a gateway to northern Germany and Europe and serves dozens of destinations. There are four terminals that are connected to the city by an underground rail service and an express bus service. Taxis and limos are also available.About Essential Travel airport parkingEssential Travel provides airport parking for all major UK airports.
