Nearly 2 million passengers annually pass through the airport, which is located 18kms south of the city centre. There are three terminals, A, B and C, with most of the scheduled flights operating out of Terminal A. Connections are offered to major cities in Europe, Russia and the Middle East. Plans are being laid to expand Schoenefeld and make it into Berlin’s major airport, after which the city’s other two airports, Tegel and Tempelhof, are expected to be closed.Airport parking at Berlin SchoenefeldShort-term parking nearest the terminal is found in car park P3, with rates of €1.50 for 20 minutes. A multilevel parking garage, P4, charges €2.50 per hour with a daily rate of €20. Long-term parking is offered in several car parks: P1/2, P5, P6, P8 and P11. Here the rates are €2 per hour, with a daily rate of €18 and a weekly rate of €80.Getting to and from Berlin SchoenefeldThe airport is 30 minutes by car from the city centre. It is located just off the A13 autobahn, which leads to the 96a roadway into the city, or to the A10 ring road which encircles much of Berlin. Airport Express trains bound for the Berlin-Zoologischer Garten station in the city centre depart from a station 500 metres from the terminals. Two bus lines also serve the airport, leaving from outside the main entrance of Terminal A every 10 minutes. The buses run to downtown Berlin, making an intermediate stop to link up with the city’s urban railway system. Metered taxis are also available outside the terminals.Amenities at Berlin Schoenefeld AirportNearly all amenities are found in Terminal A. ATMs, a bank and a currency exchange booth are located on the ground floor. There is a duty-free shop in the transit area of the terminal. On the ground floor is a shopping centre offering food and drinks, sweets, tobacco, newspapers, flowers, toys and eyeglasses. Food and refreshments are offered at a restaurant on the second floor, and at an assortment of bars and snack bars elsewhere in the terminal. A conference room with standard equipment accommodating up to 15 persons may be reserved for €150 for 4 hours.Essential Travel airport parkingWe supply airport parking at all major UK airports.Aberdeen airport parking We offer a choice of car parks including Aberdeen Airpark.
