Tours - Val de Loire Airport (TUF) information

Introduction

This small airport, with an annual capacity of 50,000 passengers, serves as the gateway to one of France’s most popular tourist destinations, the magnificent Loire Valley. Located approximately 8kms northeast of Tours, the airport offers regular flights to London as well as to domestic destinations including Lyon and Corsica, and charter service to major European cities such as Rome and Prague.

Airport parking at Tours - Val de Loire

A total of 125 spaces are available for short- and long-term parking. In the small lot in front of the airport, parking is limited to a maximum of four hours. The long-stay car park is located to the left of the terminal. Parking in both areas is free of charge. There is minibus shuttle service between the car parks and the terminal.

Getting to and from Tours - Val de Loire

Tours Airport is about a 10-minute drive from the city centre. The airport is just off the A10 Bordeaux-Paris motorway, offering convenient access to Paris (two hours by car) and Poitiers (a one-hour drive to the south). In Tours city centre is the TGV (high-speed train) station, St. Pierre des Corps. From here it is a 55-minute journey into the heart of Paris and the Gare Montparnasse. A shuttle bus runs once a day, linking the airport with the city’s central bus station. The bus leaves for the airport at 10:45; departures from the airport are at 12:15, in coordination with the arrival of the daily flight from London. The cost of the 15-minute journey is €5 each way. Taxis are also available for the trip into the city; the fare is €12.20.
