Nantes-Atlantique Airport (NTE) Information

Introduction

The ultramodern Nantes-Atlantique Airport is a main transportation hub for France’s Brittany region. Nearly 2 million passengers per year pass through the airport’s two-storey terminal. In addition to domestic links to Paris, the airport hosts international flights to such destinations as Spain and the Canary Islands, Greece, Morocco and Canada.

Five car parks (P0, P1, P2, P3 and P4) comprising 4,000 spaces are accessible 24 hours a day. Parking is free for the first hour in P0-P3. Car parks P2 and P3 are suitable for short-term parking, while the long-term car parks P0 and P1 are situated farther away from the terminal. Covered parking is available for a premium in P4. Pricing for P0 and P1: up to 12 hours, €3.50/€4; up to 24 hours, €7/€8; each additional day, €4.50/€6; weekly rate, €29.50/€38. Pricing for P2/P3: up to 12 hours, €5; 24 hours, €10; additional day, €7.50. For covered parking in P4: up to 12 hours, €7; 24 hours, €16; additional day, €11.

Getting to and from Nantes

The airport is close to the Nantes ring road, and is accessible via the Porte de Grand-Lieu interchange. The drive downtown takes 10 to 15 minutes. The Tan Air Shuttle links the airport with Nantes city centre and its transportation network. The shuttle buses stop at Vincent-Gache Boulevard, Commerce Square, the Cite des Congres Convention Centre and the city’s train station. Departure times from the airport are coordinated with arriving flight times. Tickets may be purchased on the shuttle itself, and are valid for one hour throughout the Tan bus and tramway network.

The airport has an ATM, a bank and a bureau de change. Duty-free and regular shops offer a selection of perfumes, chocolates, liquor and tobacco. A few cafés and bars offer a choice of meals, snacks and refreshments. There are meeting rooms which can be equipped to suit the needs of business travellers.
