Introduction

The gateway to one of France’s most famed wine-producing regions, Dijon Burgundy Airport is a small yet modern and ever-expanding transportation hub. Approximately 60,000 passengers per year pass through the two-storey terminal building. Scheduled domestic flights every day of the week fly to and from 15 French cities. Charter and regularly scheduled flights also connect the airport with many of the major cities of Europe; the Mediterranean basin (including Sicily, Malta, Croatia, Turkey and Tunisia); and North America.

One large car park provides free parking (both short- and long-term) for up to 150 vehicles, with designated parking spaces for the mobility-impaired. There is also a pick-up and drop-off area directly outside the terminal entrance; assistance is available for those who may require it.

Getting to and from Dijon Burgundy

The airport is located about 6km southeast of the city, just off the A39 motorway. For those driving a car, routes into the city can be confusing, but signage is generally good. Shuttle buses provide infrequent connections to and from the city centre; current timetables are available at the airport’s information desk. A taxi stand is located outside the terminal building, providing quick and convenient access to Dijon and beyond.

Two ATMs can be found in the terminal. Shopping opportunities are limited to newspapers, magazines and books. Le Petit Prince restaurant and bar provides travellers with meals and refreshments. Telex and fax services are available upon request; contact the airport’s information desk for details. Those who require wheelchairs or special assistance should notify their airline when booking their flight.

The CCI information desk, located on the ground floor in the center of the terminal building, will assist visitors with queries, baggage services, lost property, announcements and tourist information.
