Introduction

A fast-growing facility located in northwest Brittany, Brest Airport is undergoing large changes. A new terminal building, which will be able to serve 1.4 million passengers per year, is scheduled to be finished by 2007.

Airport parking at Brest

There is ample long-term and short-term parking available at Brest Airport. There is also a free car park for durations of an hour or less. Getting to and from the airport

A regular bus service connects Brest Airport with the surrounding area. From the stop at St-Luc, you can find connecting transport to Montaigne and nearby environs. A trip from the airport to the heart of Brest takes a little over 15 minutes by bus and fares are very cheap. Taxis are also readily available outside the terminal building. The trip is shorter than going by bus, but the fare is more expensive and there is an additional charge if you travel at night. Brest airport lies along the E50 motorway towards Morlaix and the road is well marked and easy to follow.

Brest Airport has a decent selection of shops to choose from. There is a news stand, a boutique and various small stores offering gifts and sundries. In addition, there is a duty-free shop featuring a good selection of spirits and perfumes from all over France. Brest Airport also has a modest selection of restaurants, cafés and bars to refresh travellers before their flight.

Brest Airport’s terminal houses a bank for all your financial needs including bureaux de change services. Other services available are a baby-changing room and a first-aid centre. Conference rooms and wireless internet access are on-hand for business travellers and facilities exist for those with special needs. These include lifts, access ramps and wheelchair-accessible toilets.
