Booking parking ahead of time is recommended, especially in the high season.Getting to and from LiverpoolThe airport is situated southeast of Liverpool city, next to the River Mersey. If driving from the city centre, take the A561 towards Runcorn and follow signs to the airport. From the M56, cross over the river at Runcorn on the A557, and continue to the airport on A561. If driving from Warrington, take the A road to Widnes, turn on to the A561, then on to Speke Hall avenue and follow the airport signs.The closest train station can be found at nearby Garston, which is easily accessible from the airport by taxi or the Arriva bus 80A. Trains travel regularly from Garston to Liverpool Central station, and Liverpool Lime street station provides transportation to destinations across the UK. Arriva bus 80A (and bus 108 on Sundays) connects the airport with Garston station, Allerton, Mossley Hill, Toxteth and Liverpool city centre.The National Express coach service departs from Liverpool coach station and provides transportation to a wide range of UK destinations.
