Located in the southeast of the country, typical flight times to the airport are about 2 hours from Miami, 3 hours from New York and about 6 or 7 hours from London. Major carriers serving La Romana Airport include American Airlines, US Airways, Thomas Cook, Delta and Continental.

Most people heading to La Romana Airport are booked into hotels and resorts on the east coast and can make use of the hotel shuttles, although local buses and taxis run services to other parts of the country.
