Information on Denmark Airports
Click here for an airport parking quotation Denmark AirportsNestled between Scandinavia proper and the rest of Europe, Denmark is a small and unassuming country that boasts a rich Viking history and a swathe of castles and other historic sights. The capital of Copenhagen has a plethora of entertainment and sightseeing options that include impressive churches, museums and plenty of shopping. North Jutland is also worth a visit and sights here include the exciting university town of Aarhus. Like other Scandinavian countries, Denmark’s transport network is very efficient, with major rail and road routes with Germany and Sweden as well as an efficient bus network. The roads are excellent despite the country’s many geographical obstacles such as islands and rivers, and driving here from Europe is straightforward. Travelling here by plane is the best option as Denmark has over 21 airports spread across the country, with many accepting flights from major European hubs. Copenhagen International Airport is now one of Europe’s major players, flying in excess of 18-million passengers per year to both distant and domestic destinations. There are three terminals: Terminal 1 for domestic and international flights; Terminal 2 for domestic only flights and Terminal 3 for international flights only; a free shuttle bus links terminals 1 and 3. The airport is located five miles southeast of Copenhagen and it has a rail terminal for transport to the city and a swathe of buses and taxis. Aarhus International Airport is located in northeast Jutland (Denmark’s main land mass) and is situated a fair distance from the city of Aarhus. The one passenger terminal handles about 650,000 passengers per year and operates flights to both domestic and European destinations, with about 100 destinations served in total. The airport is only open in the daytime and transport to the city is by bus.Essential Travel airport parkingWe supply online airport parking at all major UK airports.Aberdeen airport parking Car park name - Aberdeen Airpark.
