Flights connect with many of the major cities of Europe. There are two terminals: the newer North Terminal, which serves most international and charter flights; and the South Terminal, for domestic flights and general aviation. Transfer between the terminals is via bus, minibus or taxi.The 2005 World Airport Awards named Prague the second-best airport in eastern Europe (after Leipzig), based on a passenger survey of airport standards. Airport parking at PragueCovered parking for more than 3,000 vehicles is available in car park C, adjacent to the North Terminal. Rates are €1.35 per hour, €16.85 per day, and €85 per week, with additional days costing €3.35. A small (125-space) car park at the South Terminal charges similar rates. There is also an open car park in front of the North Terminal for very short-term parking.Getting to and from PragueIf driving from Prague city centre, take the Evropska ulice to the R7 freeway, and then turn in the direction of Slaný. Bus stops are located in front of both terminals. During peak hours, buses depart every 8 minutes for Dejvicka metro station in Prague city centre (travel time, 20 minutes; fare, €0.50). Minibus shuttles also run to two locations in downtown Prague for €2-€3 per passenger. Airport taxis are available outside the arrivals hall for transport to anywhere in Prague and beyond. The fare is generally €20-€30, depending on the destination in the city. Outside of Prague, the fare is €0.85 per kilometre.Amenities at Prague - Ruzynĕ AirportSeveral ATMs and currency exchange bureaus are located in both the departures and arrivals halls. Duty-free shopping is offered in the transit area of the North Terminal, as well as in the South Terminal. Regular shops, the vast majority of which are in the North Terminal, include newsagents and bookstores, plus shops selling china and crystal, traditional Bohemian crafts, travel-related items, gifts and souvenirs. Dining facilities in the transit/departure area include a restaurant specializing in regional cuisine, a cafeteria, a sushi bar, several cafés and fast-food outlets, and three bars. Another cafeteria and a bar are located in the arrivals lounge.
