Switzerland Airports

Zurich International Airport has a good location in the middle of the Swiss motorway network and the airport’s public transport connections with the rest of the country are excellent. There are two terminals here, with flights arriving from all over the world. Millions of passengers travel to and from the airport every year.

Not far from Geneva’s city centre, Geneva International Airport is a well-equipped facility with a capacity to shift 10-million passengers per year to destinations the world over as well as multiple destinations within Switzerland. Located near the French border, Geneva Airport has a French sector. Trains run to Geneva and other destinations in Europe, while there are also efficient buses to the city centre and several French towns.

Basel-Mulhouse International Airport is located on French territory and is a union airport between the Swiss, French and the Germans. The airport serves five-million passengers per annum and has two passenger terminals, one for domestic and the other for international. Buses serve the towns of Mulhouse, Basel and Freiburg, while the A-35 motorway runs past the airport providing easy road access.
