Click here for an Cheap Airport Parking quotation Brisbane Airport (BNE) InformationIntroductionLocated 13kms northeast of Brisbane city centre in Australia’s Queensland province, the airport’s two terminals handle more than 12 million passengers per year: 9.5 million at the domestic terminal, where there are direct flights to 30 locations within Australia; and 2.6 million at the international terminal, where direct scheduled flights connect with 26 cities each week. Primary destinations include Los Angeles, plus major cities in the Far East such as Bangkok, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The terminals are 2kms apart, and are connected by Airtrain shuttle service leaving every 15 minutes (fare, €2.50). Taxis will also transport passengers from one terminal to another for €5.50.Airport parking at BrisbaneCar parks near each terminal offer short- and long-term parking. At the international terminal, fees are €3 for 30 minutes, €5 for 1 hour, and €1.25 for each additional hour up to a daily rate of €13.50. For long-term parking at the domestic terminal there is an undercover car park; valet service is offered for an additional €6.Getting to and from BrisbaneBrisbane Airport is situated just off the Gateway Motorway, which is the main highway linking Australia’s Gold Coast (1¼ hours by car south of the airport) and Sunshine Coast (1¾ hours north). To reach Brisbane city centre by car, follow Airport Drive to the Gateway Motorway. Turn left and continue on to the Links Avenue off ramp; then turn onto Kingsford Smith Drive which leads into the city. Travel time is about 25 minutes. Bus service is available which connects the airport with various destinations in the region. Service to and from downtown Brisbane operates every 30 minutes, and costs €5.50. There is also hourly service to the Gold Coast (€21.50) and Sunshine Coast (€24.50). Taxis depart from outside the arrivals halls of both terminals, and charge €16.50 for the journey into the city.Amenities at Brisbane AirportThe international terminal has ATMs and currency exchange bureaus on levels 2, 3 and 4. Other amenities include a first-aid station and a non-denominational prayer room. Shops in the international terminal sell a range of Australian and Queensland products and souvenirs including sheepskin and merino wool items, Queensland and beach-themed fashions, and regional foods and wines. Eight bars and eateries in the international terminal offer coffee and fresh juices, light meals and snacks, and fine dining.
